Families and sitters who already have a booking can also message each other right inside the app — every conversation goes through the Kids Kreations number, so your personal numbers stay private, and Piper can see the whole thread if anything ever needs sorting out.

How do I book a sitter?

Tap Request a Sitter, tell us the date, time, and address, and Piper confirms your sitter. First, check that your ZIP is in our service area.

How are sitters vetted?

Every sitter applies with their legal name, date of birth, home address, and driver's license information, and uploads their documents (license, insurance, CPR / First Aid certifications, W-9) to a private file only Piper can open. Piper reviews every application personally before anyone is approved, and can see every message sent through the app.

Why do you ask for my photo ID and a live photo?

Before a sitter is sent to your home, we verify the adult booking is who they say they are: you upload a photo of your photo ID and take a quick live photo with your camera, and Piper matches them. It's there to protect our sitters. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's stored.

How does payment work?

Families keep a card on file (processed by Square — we never see or store your full card number, just the brand and last 4 digits). Sitters are independent contractors and are paid through the app they chose (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or PayPal).

Something in a conversation felt wrong — what do I do?

Sitters can report or block a family right inside any conversation, and Piper is notified immediately. Families: call or text (817) 985-4469 and Piper will review the conversation and block messages if needed. We have zero tolerance for abusive or inappropriate content in app messages.

I'm a sitter — how do I delete my account?

Sign in, open My Profile, and use Delete my account at the bottom. You'll confirm with your sign-in code. Your profile and document file are erased; payout history and past conversation records are kept with your name removed, as explained on the delete page and in the Privacy Policy.
